Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage the full cycle of accounts payable transactions including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor payment inquiries.
• Perform accounts reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Utilize AP software to optimize payment processing and reporting activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing accurate accounts payable data.
• Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to maintain positive partnerships.
• Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all invoices and payments are accounted for in the general ledger.
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions and reports for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Analyst or similar role.
• Treasury experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts payable.
• Experience with AP software and financial management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal departments.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
