Salary - 60k - 80k

Position Overview

Located in busy Hamilton OH we are a full service Public Accounting firm looking for a talented Bookkeeper. For the last 30 years we have been serving out community with excellent Tax and Audit Services. We are now moving in a new direction adding general accounting to our services. 

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records, prepare tax returns, and provide insightful financial statements to support our business operations.

This role can be REMOTE or HYBRID and we provide an excellent work life balance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and file payroll tax returns
• Assist in tax preparation and compliance
• Generate financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
• Support the accounting team with public accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Certification in bookkeeping is a plus
• Experience with payroll tax returns and tax preparation
• Strong understanding of financial statements and public accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
