AutoCAD Drafter

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solidworks Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and specifications using Solidworks software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with engineers and designers to create high-quality technical documentation for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed Solidworks drawings for various projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant standards and codes.
• Prepare drawings for high production sheet metal designs, electrical layouts, and power distribution systems.
• Assist in the development of switchboard designs and other technical documents as needed.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or similar field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience preferred. 
• Proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Sheetmetal experience is preferred.
• Experience with high production sheet metal drawings is a preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical design and power distribution design is preferred.
• Familiarity with control panel, switchgear, etc design is a nice to have.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
