Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-Site)
Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 per year + potential performance-based bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale public and commercial facility construction projects. This role requires expertise in budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and regulatory compliance.
15+ years of full-time experience in Construction, Project Management, or a combination of both in commercial or public/educational facility projects.
5+ years of experience leading projects over $20M in value.
OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
Bachelor's degree in any field, with a commitment to obtaining a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential within one year.
20+ years of Construction or Project Management experience (without a degree) with a commitment to obtaining a CCM within one year.
Possession of a CCM credential as a substitute for formal education.
Licensed Architect (California Architectural Board) or Professional Engineer (State Board for Professional Engineers).
CCM credential from the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).
Experience with Design-Build projects, BIM, LEED, CHPS, and DSA construction/design processes.
Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to close-out.
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with project standards.
Review contractor schedules, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Coordinate with public agencies and internal stakeholders.
Monitor project close-out, including compliance certifications.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to project teams.
