Position Overview
The Sr. Construction Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely and quality completion while adhering to safety protocols and budgetary constraints. This leadership role involves managing on-site personnel, collaborating with subcontractors, and liaising with clients to guarantee project specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and communicating any delays or issues to project stakeholders.
Implement and enforce OSHA safety regulations and standards on-site, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on project progress, including any challenges and solutions.
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring project stays within financial constraints.
Engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution related to construction challenges and team dynamics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent.
Strong knowledge of multifamily, industrial, and commercial construction processes and standards.
Familiarity with property management practices and principles.
Certification in OSHA 10 and OSHA 30, SWPP certification is a plus.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client relations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
