Job Title: Lead Auditor / Document Control Specialist
Location: Heber Springs, AR
Salary: $55K - $65K (DOE)

Position Overview
The Lead Auditor / Document Control Specialist will oversee and manage the auditing processes within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IATF-16949 and ISO. This role is pivotal in maintaining quality management systems (QMS) and document control practices, thereby contributing to the overall quality assurance and improvement initiatives of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Quality records per inspection instructions and procedures and as required by IATF-16949.
Understand customer requirements and follow the related inspection instructions or other training documents.
Plan and execute internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS).
Ensure compliance with IATF-16949 and ISO standards throughout the auditing processes.
Manage document control processes, ensuring all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
Conduct training sessions for staff on quality assurance and auditing procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for quality issues identified during audits.
Prepare audit reports and presentations for management review, summarizing findings and recommendations.
Continuously improve auditing techniques and document control systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a lead auditor, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of IATF-16949, ISO standards, and quality assurance principles.
Previous IATF/TS 16949 internal auditor training and experience (Helpful)
Strong understanding of document control processes, tools, and software applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Excellent Microsoft Office expertise.
