Senior Land Surveyor (RPLS)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and executing land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations while meeting client needs. You will have the option to grow into manager/director.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage land surveying projects from inception to completion.
Conduct boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction layout surveys.
Prepare and review plats, drawings, and other surveying documents using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field crews in surveying techniques and best practices.
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and proposals to ensure project success.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
Utilize Trimble equipment for precise data collection and analysis in the field.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land surveying.

Qualifications

Current Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the relevant state.
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on fieldwork and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Trimble surveying equipment.
Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and legal boundaries (Metes and Bounds).
Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
