Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to create intuitive and visually appealing digital products while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. You will play a crucial role in shaping our product vision and ensuring a user-centered design approach throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative design solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights that inform design decisions.
- Create and maintain design assets and a design system that ensures a cohesive user experience across all digital products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design and UX design.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and business requirements.
- Contribute to the overall product vision and strategy by advocating for user-centered design principles.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or a related field, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction design, user-centered design, and digital product design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or similar.
- Knowledge of user research methods and usability testing techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Passionate about design and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the industry.
