Service Desk Engineer - Hybrid - Flexible
Total compensation up to $150,000 depending on experience
Must be willing to travel as needed, at least 50% of the time, throughout North America.
Preference is for someone in/near Parachute Colorado, or you could be in Grand Junction area.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to provide top-notch technical support to our users in a flexible hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Service Desk operations, ensuring efficient use of our IT resources and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, configure, and relocate all user desktop/laptop hardware.
- Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain all user software applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain printers.
- Answer support phone calls and emails from users.
- Assist with server, network, and audio/video equipment installation.
- Provide support to visitors to various office locations.
- Train users in the use of desktop hardware and software.
- Travel to offsite user locations to provide the above support.
- Interface with IT vendors (PC, server, network, video conferencing) on location.
- Supervise installations by network and audio video consultants.
- Work with IT management to review IT requirements.
- Work with IT department in NYC (main headquarters) to ensure high availability of IT equipment
- Work on special projects or assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Certifications and/or college degree required in engineering or other technical areas.
- Over 5 years of experience in PC support, light server and network administration.
- Knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, EntraID, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint and Box support required.
- Knowledge of Cisco and Meraki networking is a plus.
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly professional demeanor, strong work ethic and solid verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on tasks independently.
